How to get there:

The church has a layout with three aisles and features some icons by painter and writer Fotis Kontoglou (1895-1965, real name: Fotios Apostolelis), a major contributor to the Byzantine iconography.

The present-day church was constructed in 1975 on a site where two churches had been previously built and demolished, but it still oozes with majesty and serenity one would associate with churches hundreds of years old. It is an active church, so services are held regularly – please do not disturb…and no flash photography allowed!
